Orange County Historical Society
Orange County Historical Society is one of the local attractions in Orange. Wikipedia

During the Orange County Fair in the fourth week of July, the community celebrates its role in American history, its agricultural heritage, and the traditional values that created and help it sustain its way of life.

The Orange County Fair is an old fashioned county fair in the truest sense; no midway carnival, no high pressure selling activities.

Each year, the fair puts together a collection of activities, contests, and entertainment aimed at creating a fun atmosphere for all members of the community and its guests.

Fair sponsors invite people to enjoy a clean, wholesome, family-oriented weekend that focuses on the joy of rural living. The Orange County Fair is a safe place for children to experience our agricultural heritage.

Highlights include: 4-H livestock shows, cloggers, challenge events for the kids, live music, cow-milking, mule jumping competition, antique tractor pull, demolition derby, draft horse and mule demonstrations, frisbee dog competition, Jack Russell races, magic shows, pony rides, petting zoo, crafts and commerical booths, tempting county fair food, and spirited competitions for the best tomato, apple pie, & cross-stitching.
