Louisa Christmas Festival and Parade

The Louisa Christmas Festival and Parade is held from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. Dec. 6 in the Courthouse Square.

Vendors will have all kinds of gift ideas on sale including Christmas wares, woodcrafts, jewelry, Tupperware, Scentsy, Pampered Chef, wreaths, and quilts are just some of the items that have been for sale in years past. Vendor space is only $20 for a 10×10 booth (non-profits get a discount), and admission is free for all shoppers.

At 2 p.m., the parade celebrating Christmas In America starts at Meadow Avenue and travels down Main Street to Rosewood Street, then to the County Administrative Building on Woolfolk Avenue.

Whether participants have a float, are part of a marching group, or have some fancy antique car, it’s free to enter the parade, but they must pre-register. They can download a registration form the website or call the office. The deadline to enter the parade is Tuesday, Nov. 25.
