As the annual community service event each year, the Dinwiddie County Chamber of Commerce begins in February each year to get organized and ready. This year-long process contributes to the enormous growth the parade has seen over the years. The event packed day begins early with volunteers from all areas of the county settling up parking, registration, floats and so much more.
