This park is world known for its wide array of offerings. A Cedar Fair Amusement Park, it has rides, entertainment, food, games and fun for visitors of all ages.

Rides

This park has some amazing thrill rides. Adventure seekers will want to try out the newest addition, WindSeeker, plus the popular top rollercoaster, Intimidator 305.

The park has a large selection of thrill rides for which it has become world known. Other thrill rides include Anaconda, Backlot Stunt Coaster, Berserker, Dominator, Drop Tower, Grizzly, Flight of Fear, Rebel Yell, Hurler, Ricochet, The Crypt, Shockwave and Xtreme SkyFlyer.

Family rides include the Blue Ridge Tolway, Scrambler, Shenadoah Lumber Company and Flying Eagles. The Avalanche provides guests with the opportunity to see what it feels like to be a member of an Olympic bobsled.

Other examples of family rides include Americana, Boo Blasters on Boo Hill, the carousel, Dodgem, Eiffel Tower, Flying Ace, Thunder Raceway, Wave Swinger and Triple Spin.

A main attraction at the theme park is Planet Snoopy. Little riders have the opportunity to join the Peanuts characters.

They also will enjoy the great variety of fun and rides that are offered in this section of the theme park. Among the rides are Joe Cool’s Driving School, Snoopy vs. Red Baron, Lucy’s Crabbie Cabbie, Snoopy’s Moon Bounce, Peanuts Road Rally, Peanuts Turnpike, Flying Ace, Woodstock Express and the Great Pumpkin Coaster.

WaterWorks

WaterWorks is a waterpark that is located within a theme park. Admission to Kings Dominion includes the waterpark as well. Filled with water slides, rushing rivers and surfable waves plus a 65,000 wave pool, there is plenty of family fun.

Live Entertainment

There are plenty of shows featuring all kinds of music and performances for folks of all ages. With dancers, singers and musicians galore, with music from various genres, there are live performances for all tastes.

Dinosaurs Alive!

Travel back millions of years when you visit the world’s largest animatronic park featuring dinosaurs. This portion of the park features 36 life-sized dinosaurs in a Juraissac forest setting.

Dining

Numerous food options are available inside the park. There are more thasn 30 restaurants and snack stands located throughout the park. Ranging from Chick-fil-A, Cinnabon and Border Cafe to Country Kitchen, Juke Box Diner and Outer Hanks, there are options for every appetite and every taste.

Shopping

The park has numerous shopping opportunities for those who would like to get souvenirs. Congo Thrills specializes in shirts and hats from the thrill rides. Crave offers the popular brands, such as Fox, Element, Hurley and Roxy. Dinosaur fans may enjoy a visit to Dinostore.

Among the other stores are the General Store, Gift Emporium, Peppermint Patty’s Candy Shop/Kidstuff, Shorts and Shades and Snoopy Boutique.
